Supported Platforms
Last Updated: September 30, 2026
This page is the single, authoritative list of the platforms on which Earnesty can verify a post. Know Reply Inc. (“Know Reply”, “we”, “us”) maintains it, and every other Earnesty document points here rather than keeping its own list — so there is exactly one place to look and exactly one place that can be wrong. It applies to APPs running an earned tier and to USERs earning on one. Where an Earnesty document says “a Supported Platform”, it means a platform listed as Live below.
1. The List
| Platform | Status | Verification methods | Platform-native disclosure label |
|---|---|---|---|
| X | Live | Check now · Paste the URL · Daily sweep | Paid Partnership / Content Disclosure — not required for now; recorded on every verified post and encouraged where X offers it (see §3) |
| YouTube | Live | Paste the URL · Check my post, which reads the channel the first video bound | ”Paid promotion” — creator-declared and shown to viewers, but not readable by us (see §3) |
| TikTok | Live | Paste the URL | Commercial content disclosure setting — required by TikTok’s Branded Content Policy and the creator’s obligation, but not readable by us (see §3) |
| Anticipated | Delivered by the APP’s connected Instagram account · Paste the URL | Paid partnership label — not readable by us (see §3) | |
| Threads | Anticipated | Delivered by the APP’s connected Threads account · Paste the URL | Paid partnership label — not readable by us (see §3) |
| Bluesky | Anticipated | Author feed and post lookup · Paste the URL | None — Bluesky has no such label |
Live means we are verifying posts on that platform today.
Anticipated means we intend to support it and are not verifying posts on it yet. An anticipated platform is not a commitment to launch on a particular date, and a post made on one does not earn until that platform is Live. Nothing you read anywhere else in our documents should be taken as promising otherwise.
2. Verification Methods
Four methods find a post, subject to platform access and operational limits:
- Check now. A USER asks us to look for their posts. Checks are bounded; there is no paid priority queue or promise of unlimited checking.
- Daily sweep. We look once a day for posts naming the APP, using the same funded acceptance process as on-demand checks.
- Paste the URL. A USER supplies a post URL for direct lookup. This remains subject to platform availability.
- Delivered by the APP’s account. On Instagram and Threads the APP connects its own account once, and the platform sends us each public post that mentions it. A USER’s post is credited automatically, with nothing to check or paste.
Discovery does not change the applicable Reward terms, which are fixed at publication. It does not reserve funding or guarantee acceptance. The performance review is due five days after publication and uses the public counts available when it runs. See the Program Rules.
3. Platform-Native Disclosure Labels
On X, the text Disclosure is required and the Paid Partnership label is not, for now. A Qualifying Post must carry Earnesty’s approved text Disclosure in the placement required by the APP’s Market. This page previously said X’s Paid Partnership setting also had to be on. That requirement is withdrawn: X does not offer the label to every account, and X’s API does not tell us which accounts can use it, so requiring it would refuse USERs for something they cannot do. We found this in a live test on 20 September 2026. A post is never refused because the label is off or was not reported, and a Reward is never revoked at the five-day review because of the label. The five-day review re-checks the text Disclosure against the recorded policy.
We still read the label value X reports and record it on every verified post as on, off or not reported, and compliance reports show it. USERs are encouraged to turn the label on where X offers it to their account, and APPs must not discourage its use. The label never replaces the text Disclosure. We may make it a requirement later, with notice, once we can reliably tell which accounts can use it.
On YouTube, a USER does not sign in to YouTube. We read public videos through YouTube’s API. A USER’s channel is connected by their first qualifying video, which carries the Disclosure and their Claim Code at the start of its title or its description, in the same way an X account is connected by its first post. After that the USER asks us to check the channel for new public videos from their rewards page, and pasting a link remains available. YouTube posts can earn the performance bonus, ranked on the video’s views, likes and comments against the APP’s other YouTube posts (see the Program Rules, §6).
On TikTok, a USER never signs in to TikTok through Earnesty. The USER pastes the post’s link and we check it once, when it is submitted, through TikTok’s public embed service: the text Disclosure and the brand must be in the post’s description, which is the only text TikTok’s embed service returns (not its title), and the USER’s account code in the description of their first TikTok post links that TikTok account to them. Videos and photo posts are both checked. TikTok’s Branded Content Policy requires its commercial content disclosure setting on a post made for a reward. No TikTok interface lets us read that setting, so it is not a condition of a Reward; turning it on is the creator’s obligation under TikTok’s policy. A TikTok post earns the base Reward only, and the base is final when the check passes: there is no five-day review on TikTok.
On Instagram and Threads, a USER never signs in either. The APP connects its own Instagram or Threads account once, from its console; that is the only account Earnesty is authorized to read. The platform then sends us each public post that mentions the APP’s account. We keep a post only when it carries the text Disclosure and comes from an account connected to a USER, or carries the USER’s Claim Code in its caption or text, which connects that account the way a first post does on X. Every other mention, from anyone who is not a USER, is discarded when it arrives and nothing about it is kept. A kept post is credited automatically within minutes; pasting its link remains a fallback. On Instagram the brand is matched with or without its @, because Instagram’s own data sometimes leaves the @ out. Instagram posts can earn the performance bonus, ranked on the post’s likes and comments against the APP’s other Instagram posts, because Instagram reports no view count. Threads posts earn the base Reward only, because Threads reports no counts we can read on a USER’s post. Both are checked again at the settlement review and revoked if the post is gone, no longer public or no longer disclosed. Neither platform’s paid partnership label is readable by us, so it is not a condition of a Reward.
Instagram, Threads and Bluesky remain anticipated. Before any of them becomes Live, we will confirm its access path, disclosure requirements, and which evidence we can independently verify. A label absent from an API response is not evidence of compliance, and anticipated support is not permission to earn on that platform today.
4. Each Platform’s Own Rules Apply
Every Supported Platform has its own developer agreement, its own user terms, and its own rules about automation, incentives, and disclosure. Those rules bind us in how we operate Earnesty, and they bind USERs in how they post.
- Nothing in any Earnesty document licenses a violation of a platform’s rules. Not this page, not the Terms of Service, not the Participation Agreement, not the Earned Tier Program Rules. Where an Earnesty document appears to permit something a platform prohibits, the platform’s rules govern and the Earnesty permission does not apply.
- APPs must run their earned tier consistently with each platform’s terms, and must not ask a USER to do anything on a platform that the platform prohibits. If a platform tells us an APP’s program breaks its rules, we may suspend Verification for that APP on that platform.
- USERs post under their own platform account and remain subject to their platform’s rules. Earnesty has no ability to protect a USER’s platform account and does not indemnify a USER against platform enforcement.
- We are not a party to your relationship with a platform, and platforms are not our subcontractors. Their availability, rate limits, pricing, access tiers, and API surfaces can change without notice, and a change can remove a capability we relied on.
The governing terms, for reference:
| Platform | Governing developer terms |
|---|---|
| X | X Developer Agreement and Policy |
| YouTube | YouTube API Services Terms of Service and Developer Policies |
| TikTok | TikTok Developer Terms of Service and Branded Content Policy |
| Meta Platform Terms, Developer Policies and Instagram Terms of Use | |
| Threads | Meta Platform Terms, Developer Policies and Threads Terms of Use |
| Bluesky | Bluesky / AT Protocol terms |
Platform limits are operational constraints, not guaranteed volumes. Performance review reads the post’s own public counts; it does not fetch replying accounts. We must remain within the access and usage limits applicable to our integration.
5. Platform-Derived Data Obligations
Some of what Earnesty holds came from a platform, and the platform’s developer agreement, not Earnesty, sets how long we may keep it. Where a platform’s terms are stricter than our own retention schedule, the platform’s terms win.
In practice this means:
- Deletion follows the platform. Platform developer agreements — X’s notably — require that content deleted on the platform be deleted downstream. We refresh post content and public engagement counts against the platform, and when a source post is deleted, made private, or otherwise stops being publicly available, we remove the platform-derived content and metrics we were holding for it.
- The settlement record survives. We keep the minimal record needed to evidence a completed transaction and to satisfy disclosure-compliance recordkeeping: the platform post ID, the post timestamp, the granted value, and the terms snapshot. That record is ours, not the platform’s, and it is what lets us show — to the APP, to a USER, or to a regulator — that a reward was earned honestly.
- Retention periods you cannot negotiate with us. Because some of these periods are set by a platform rather than by us, we cannot extend them on request, and an APP cannot contract for a longer one. Requests to shorten them are handled under the Privacy Policy and the USER Privacy Notice.
- The five-day review governs revocation. If the post or a required disclosure is gone at that review, there is no bonus and the base grant is revoked as the Program Rules describe; the APP decides whether to recover value it already delivered. Deletion after a completed review does not unwind the settled Reward, but still requires removal of retained platform content and counts.
The full retention picture, including what we hold that did not come from a platform, is in the Privacy Policy, the USER Privacy Notice, and the Data Processing Addendum.
6. Changes to This Page
This page changes. Platforms get added when we can verify on them, statuses move from Anticipated to Live, and a platform’s own terms can force a change on us with little notice. We update this page and its Last Updated date when a platform’s status changes. A platform becoming Live, or being added as anticipated, takes effect when this page is updated, with no notice period. We will tell APPs directly before removing a Live platform or materially reducing what we can verify on one, where the change is within our control. Where a platform forces the change, we will tell you as soon as we reasonably can.
Existing commitments continue. Platform changes do not reprice accepted work or remove its wind-down obligations. We use the recorded terms for accepted posts and the Drop rules for outstanding timely requests, subject to the platform access actually available. No agreement can guarantee continued access to evidence a platform stops supplying.
